Bridge to Music
bridging music & the community

How to Help
Want to support our organization and cause? Here's how.

Instrument Donations
Have any instruments lying around that you aren't using anymore? Outgrown your ¾-size violin? Our Instrument Donation Drive is a chance to give back to the community!
According to the 2019 Social Mobility Commission report, children aged 10 to 15 from the wealthiest families are nearly three times more likely to take part in music activities than those from poorer families. While an old or outgrown instrument may only be a memory to some of us, that instrument can be a life-changing start to a student in need.

Live Performances
Are you a student musician who loves to perform and share your music? Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity? Our Performance Series is your chance to get involved!

As Henry Wadsworth Longfellow: said, "Music is the universal language of mankind." When people age and enter retirement and assisted living communities, they are faced with new routines and challenges. By sharing our music with them, we hope to be able to connect and bring comfort to our senior community.

Fundraiser & Donations
Want to support our organization and our projects in other ways? We also host fundraisers on occasion to raise money for various causes to support local non-profit music academies.
For online fundraisers, stay connected with our Instagram. For in-person events, look for our homemade donation box to donate in cash or scan the QR codes on the side of the box to donate online directly to each cause! Our team does a lot of research to find the right organizations and causes to support.
Instrument Donation Drive
Bridging musical resources to youth who can't afford it.
If you or someone you know have instruments that you aren't using anymore and would like to give a new life to, consider donating them to our instrument donation drive! Young musical aspirations are everywhere, but the resources to achieve those dreams are not. That's why we collect second-hand (or new) instruments, clean, and donate them to non-profit music schools in the valley.
We ask that any donated instruments are in playable condition, although we do have student volunteers adjusting minor issues. We also collect other supplemental materials such as shoulder rests, end-pin straps, and music books! Fill out the form below to change a life today.
For students who love to share their music or are looking for opportunities to perform more, consider participating in one of our live-music concerts at local senior living communities! (Bonus points: it's a great volunteering opportunity as well!)
While performance times and locations vary throughout the season, we typically host these small concerts on a weekend, featuring around 6 student musicians with programs between 30 minutes to 1 hour. We encourage a variety of instruments and musical genres to be represented, as well as solo and ensemble playing! Fundraiser Donations
Bridging financial support and aid to communities in need.
At Bridge to Music, we believe in the ripple effect of giving. Just as a single melody can uplift a room, collective support can bring music to communities far beyond our own performances.
Our Fundraisers are an extension of our mission: to connect people through music while supporting organizations that remove barriers to music education and access. We partner with nonprofits whose work resonates deeply with our volunteers, many of whom are directly impacted by these programs.
For example, our recent project supported SOUNDS Academy, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that provides scholarships and lessons to underserved youth. Many of our own student musicians have grown through the support of SOUNDS Academy, so participating in their “March Madness” campaign was a meaningful way to give back. Together, we raised over $1,000, showing that even small contributions, when combined, can create opportunities for children to discover the joy of making music. Whether or not you’re a musician, you can still play a vital role in our mission. By giving, you help open doors for young people to explore music.
